In case I haven't apologized enough to the people I dragged off to the cinema in order to see "Alone in the Dark," allow me to first apologize once more. "Sorry about that!" Now, to make up for it, this fall/winter "Alone in the Dark 2" is coming out. Clearly a band of 1st movie survivors needs to be assembled because really, could the sequel actually be worse? I'll buy the Milk Duds and eye bleach!

And speaking of Uwe Boll's cinematic atrocities, I accidentally watched one last night: "In the Name of the King: a Dungeon Siege Tale." Early on in the film I was forced to turn on the subtitles. Not because I couldn't understand what the actors were saying, but to visually confirm via reading the subtitles that the main character's name was indeed simply "Farmer." Because he was a farmer.
